We are committed to sustainability & the environment.
Our planet is a beautiful place—and we want to help keep it that way. The solar industry is making a significant difference in clean energy. But it can’t stop there. Our objective is to change the way the industry sees waste by committing to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles that drive sustainability and build a circular economy across the entire value chain.
Together, we can change the industry for the better.
As a reusable packaging company, our mission and core values underscore the emphasis we place on business practices that positively impact our stakeholders and the planet.
We are guided by our ESG principles.
By setting ambitious goals and embracing sustainable practices, we aim to create long-term value for our customers, stakeholders, and the environment.
Environmental Stewardship
Materials: We prioritize using sustainable, recycled materials in our packaging solutions and actively pursue reuse and end-of-life recycling initiatives.
Resources: We encourage resource conservation and minimizing waste generation.
Partnerships: We partner with companies that offset the impact of wood pallets and recoup materials for reuse and recycling.
Social Responsibility
Safety: We prioritize the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities.
Growth: We value employee well-being, foster a supportive, fun workplace, and encourage professional growth.
Community: We collaborate with organizations and vendors who share our core values and support their communities.
Ethical Governance
Integrity: We maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical business conduct.
Feedback: We engage with stakeholders, seek their feedback, and incorporate their perspectives into our decision-making.
Testing: We perform safety and environmental impact testing to ensure our products adhere to our ESG policies and quality standards.
Reusable Packaging Matters
In addition to adhering to our own ESG principles, our reusable packaging solutions provide a critical piece of the environmental equation for organizations seeking to achieve their ESG goals.
Here’s the problem: the US Solar Industry created an estimated 157,333,360 pounds of wood pallet waste in 2021 alone.* That puts the international market at upwards of 1.1 billion pounds of global wood pallet waste each year—just for shipping solar modules. Based on our research, an average of two to seven percent of solar panels arrive damaged and unusable due to a lack of protection during shipping. Considering over 420 million solar modules were installed in 2021, a 5% breakage rate equates to over 21,000,000 broken modules—a $4.2 billion loss due to damages.*
By contrast, reusable packaging reduces the environmental impact of supply chains by eliminating waste, consuming less energy, improving ROI, and incorporating a circular economy.
Reduced Breakage
Added structural integrity reduces solar module breakage by at least 92% —a $92,000 savings per MW installed
Circular Economy
Reusable plastic pallets can be reused (often hundreds of times) and then fully recycled into new HDPE packaging.
Reduced Waste
Eliminating the need to dispose of wood waste and broken modules saves solar customers $6,700 per MW
Reclaim Value
Reusable plastic packaging holds a reclaim value (roughly 10-20% of their original cost)
