Injection Mold Fabrication to be Completed in August 2021
PVpallet, Inc. (pvpallet.com) is excited to announce our partnership with MSI Mold Builders for the fabrication of our PVpallet injection molds, with an expected completion date of August 2021.
Using a variety of cutting-edge machining and milling technologies, MSI is manufacturing the aluminum low-pressure foam injection molds in their facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. These molds will be used to create the fully reusable and recyclable HDPE 2 PVpallet bases, side walls, and cross braces.
During the mold fabrication process, MSI collects and recycles aluminum scrap created by any subtractive manufacturing processes. “The aluminum molds MSI is creating for PVpallet are modifiable and sustainable,” explained co-founder Philip Schwarz. “We’re thrilled that MSI is helping us meet our sustainability goals.”
